Foodbanks

Did you know that one in five children are living in poverty in our Borough? This can be as a result of low wage employment, redundancy or an unexpected bill. To help those in need, we are calling on you, to help the less fortunate families and individuals in our Borough, by supporting the local foodbanks.

To get involved all you need to do is bring in non-perishable foods to donate. This can include
  • tins of soup or tins of meat,
  • packets of pasta or rice,
  • jars of sauces,
  • tea or coffee,
  • cereals,
  • dried fruit or soup mix,
  • jams and preserves,
  • nappies and toiletries
  • or anything else that is non-perishable.
If you would like to donate items to a foodbank, or if you need to use a foodbank, please see details below
