Ballyclare Town Hall

Ballyclare Town Hall One of the oldest buildings in Ballyclare, offers a quiet setting for your ceremony.  Civil marriages can take place in one of two rooms:

• Ollar Room  (seats up to 100 people)
• Dorsten Room (seats 8-10 people)

Approved Council Venues

Civil Marriages can also take place in an approved venue (Monday - Saturday), subject to the availability of a Registrar. The following venues have been approved by the Registrar to hold civil ceremonies:

Antrim Castle Gardens & Clotworthy House

• Recently renovated to restore the historic and traditional beauty of the area with  picturesque grounds for photographs.  Clotworthy House offers two rooms for marriages:
• The Oriel Gallery -  up to 60 people
• The Massereene Room -  up to 50 seats
• Also the option of having an outside ceremony in the Antrim Castle, under the Parterre (contact Clotworthy for further details)

Old Courthouse, Antrim

• Able to accommodate up to 100 people, offers the attraction of a beautiful historic building          

• Sentry Hill

  Ceremonies take place in the old byre, which makes for an intimate and rather uniqu setting. Sentry Hill house itself dates back to the Victorian period and is set within two acres of gardens which makes it an impressive backdrop for wedding photographs.
